Social and Economic Justice
Our Vision ~ Montclair Fund for Women will invest in programs that promote Social and Economic Justice, Educational Advancement and Achievement, and the Strategic Strengthening of Historic Black organizations to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
Montclair Fund for Women will support projects in advocacy, community organizing, arts, media, and other civic activities that promote social and economic justice.
Montclair Fund for Women will consider grant applications for projects to engage individuals and community in:
Exposing and Challenging Systemic Racism; teaching tolerance; combating racist/bigoted laws, policies and private business practices.
Exposing and Challenging Economic Inequality – research, community organizing, public education campaigns, community forums, publications to expose private, non-profit and government sector policies, laws and practices that result in economic inequality for specific/arbitrarily targeted segments of the population, for the private profit of another.
Unconstitutional political policies, laws, court rulings and practices – community education and organizing designed to expose, illuminate, educate and inform public advocacy regarding interpretation and enforcement of the United States Constitution.
