Montclair Community Pre-K$3,000
to support the Family Network Center which provides parenting skills workshops and conferences for community parents and guardians of preschool age children.
Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence$5,000
$4,000 to support the Montclair High School Dance Company Parents’ Association’s professional classes and showcase for students; $1,000 challenge
grant to increase parent contributions to new fund development initiative.
Partners for Women & Justice$5,000
to support its mPower Financial Literacy training for women who are recovering from domestic violence or divorce, or re-entering post-secondary education or employment.
Jewish Family Service of MetroWest$4,000
for The Rachel Coalition’s Court Advocate services for victims of domestic violence.
Montclair Universal Unitarian Church$4,000
for the Undoing Racism Committee’s transitional planning and youth workshops
Union Congregational Church$4,000
to support The Side Door after school youth development program, including $1,000 matching challenge grant to increase parents’
philanthropic contributions to the program, which is offered free of charge to all local students.
